Ship 47 Holiday Adventures

2025 has been an amazing year for the Sea Scout Ship Nautilus. Our December was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our successes with our Shipmates.

We took a cruise at the beginning of December just outside of the marina in SF Bay on a 47 foot trawler owned by two Sea Scout parents.

We cruised in the Coyote Point Lighted Boat Parade with our Navy Motor Whaleboat the Nautilus for the first time.

Our Sea Scouts helped decorate the Christmas Trees at the Coyote Point Yacht Club…and visited Santa Claus after the Lighted Boat Parade.

We had a fantastic holiday potluck party, with tons of food, recognized Sea Scouts who earned Apprentice, and a white elephant gift exchange.

We are now at 18 Sea Scouts, just two away from our goal of 20 youth members. If you know a youth who is at least 14, or 13 and a graduate of the 8th grade, check our application on Be A Scout for more information.
