Sea Scout Ship Nautilus attended the 30th Anniversary Safety @ Sea, held at Coast Guard Sector San Francisco at Yerba Buena Island.
S@S was attended by over 200 Sea Scouts and volunteers from across California. Sea Scout volunteers from multiple Sea Scout Ships and members of the United States Coast Guard worked together to put on an amazing activity.
Safety @ Sea is a hands-on maritime safety training. Sea Scouts launched flares, used fire extinguishers on demo firefighting trainers, survival suit training, and damage control simulators.
It was a day of fun, making friends, and learning valuable safety skills. A huge thank you to everyone who made Safety @ Sea a success.
